Scalp scrubs are a little new to the scene but they have proven to be a necessary part of your weekly hair care routine. Your scalp is just like your skin, in fact, it is skin that needs special treatment as well. A scalp scrub is one of the best ways to exfoliate your scalp without causing any damage. Below there’s a bomb recipe for a deep exfoliating scalp scrub.

What You’ll Need
½ cup coarse sea salt
3 tablespoons avocado oil
3 tablespoons ACV(apple cider vinegar)
2 drops tea tree oil

How To Use It
Mix all ingredients together. Before you shampoo and condition your hair, section hair off into 4 sections. Lightly mist hair and apply the scrub to each section. Once your entire scalp is covered, gently massage the scrub with your fingertips. Be careful not to rub your scalp too hard to avoid causing any irritation.
The Benefits
Besides having a scalp that feels great, using a scalp scrub has a few other amazing benefits. One of the most notable being a relief for dryness and itchiness. Other benefits include the promotion of healthy hair growth, deep removal of product buildup, and in some cases it can treat minor hair loss.

You can try just using the sea salt and an oil of your choice. I’m sure it’ll work the same way.

I want To try this on my daughter but she is allergic to avocado and apples. I’ve tried a product with apple cider vinegar and it irritated her scalp . Is there anything I can Substitute. 😩
